Daily Log: Kate

5/5/17:
-Finishing up the work I had been assigned the previous day.
-I read the instructions on Mrs. S's blog.
-Created tabs for each person on my team using the guidelines on the daily logs directions page.
-Completed the interview (Yay!)
-Practiced controlling an ROV using last year's ROV's.

5/9/17:
-Wrote my Daily log for day one.
-Looked at the blog of a group who did theirs well.
-Fixed the formatting of my Blog.
-Talked to Mrs. S about our jobs when it comes to building the frame.
-Watched videos on how to use the equipment
-Practiced using the equipment
-Wrote my Daily Log for day two.

5/11/17:
-Edited my blog (added more images)
-Practiced stripping wires
-Re-Watched Video on how to use a soldering tool
-Got ready to practice soldering (i.e. putting hair up, putting on goggles, etc)
-Practiced soldering
-Wrote my Daily Log for Day 3 (Today)

5/12/17:
-Practiced soldering one more time
-Worked With Erik to make the tether
-Stripped Tether wire
-Wrote daily Log

5/16/17:
-Stripped 1cm of thin colorful wire (found within the Tether)
-Cut and stripped motor wires
-Color coded the Tether Wires
-Talked about soldering for the next class
-Cleaned up
-Wrote Daily Log

5/18/17:
-Worked on attaching the motor wires to the tether wires
  °twisted them together (long and painful process)
  °soldered the wires together
-Cleaned up
-wrote blog

5/19/17:
-Began and finished waterproofing the wires
  °Finished up the soldering
  °Hot glued the wires
  °Waited for the glue to cool
  °Put the shrink wrap over the wire part
  °Heated the shrink wrap
-Helped Andy test the control box
