Day 1 (May 5th, 2017): Helped people review for the interview, and then went for the interview and passed. Then we got to play around with last year’s ROV’s, and got to show other groups as well.
Day 2 (May 9th, 2017): Received the Box O’ Stuff, and worked on keeping up the daily logs on the website in an easier way. I was designated to work on the control box, so I practiced stripping wire and will move on to soldering next class.
Day 3 (May 12th): Finished watching videos, Talked about how to build a frame, Went off separately to work on our assigned part, Cleaned Up, Wrote Logs.
Day 4 (May 16th):-Today we worked on the control box and soldering the control box
-Bought the frame
-Stripped 1cm of tether wire)
-Cut and stripped motor wires
-Color coded the Tether Wires to the Motor Wires
-Talked about our plan for the next class
-Cleaned up
-Wrote Logs
Day 5 (May 18th): -Finished up on control box and worked on multi meter along with testing the control box
Day 6 (May 19th): Worked on the control box and tested to make sure it worked (and it did!) Started and finished the power cord
